TaylorMade created the Taylor Made Rescue Mid Woods to be easier to use than a long-iron while delivering better distance. The Rescue Mid combines a high moment of inertia (higher than a long-iron) with an exceptionally low, deep center of gravity (CG). This combination provides maximum forgiveness on mis-hits with a high launch angle and high spin, producing high, long shots. Rescue Mid delivers increased ball speed which results in greater distance in comparison to it?s long iron counterpart.
